If a freelancer's plans change or they are unwell, they can always cancel the gig within the cancellation period without consequences. If the cancellation period has ended they will face the following repercussions for not showing up or submitting a replacement:

1st time = Official warning & mandatory edume course

2nd time = Cannot react to new gigs for 2 weeks & mandatory edume course

3rd time = Cannot react to new gigs for 1 month & mandatory edume course

4th time  Cannot react to new gigs for 3 months & mandatory edume course

To help you make the best matches we have three statistics that are displayed on the freelancer's profile:

1. number of gigs they have been matched to

2. number of time the freelancer has not shown up to the gig

3. number of gigs where a replacement has been provided instead

This means you can see a freelancer's reliability, helping you choose the right match for your business, every time.

Stay alert! Within your dashboard settings, make sure your notification preferences are set to receive an email when a freelancer cancels and arranges a replacement. You can also opt to automatically reopen a matched gig when the freelancer cancels.
