YoungOnes makes working with freelancers accessible, simple and clear. In order to ensure that the cooperation runs smoothly, as a client you have a number of obligations that you have to take into account:
Contact with the freelancer | As soon as you have found the perfect freelancer, you are responsible for contacting them and informing them about the ins & outs of the gig.
Informing on location and time | It is important that the location and time of the gig is clearly detailed. If the location or time is changed last minute, the freelancer may no longer be able to work the gig or may expect reimbursement for travel expenses. Should this occur, it is recommended to contact the freelancer and come to an agreement.
Cancellation period | If you change your mind about a freelancer you have matched with for a gig, you can cancel them without consequences before the cancellation period expires. You can choose the best cancellation period when posting the gig. If you cancel a freelancer after the cancellation period has expired, the freelancer has the right to claim 50% of the agreed hours.
Approve hours | After the gig, the freelancer submits the hours worked in the app for you to approve, decline or amend via your dashboard. It is important this is done as soon as possible, as invoicing is not initiated until the hours have been approved. Late approval delays payment to the freelancer and lowers your rating on the platform.
Payments | We take care of invoicing and ensure that the freelancers are paid. All you have to do is transfer the amount due to us within 14 days, and we'll take care of the rest!
