If the replacement is also a verified freelancer on the YoungOnes platform, the original freelancer should arrange the replacement via the app. You will then see the profile of the replacement freelancer matched on the gig and they will submit hours for approval as normal.
If you have mutually agreed on a replacement who is not verified through the YoungOnes platform, the original freelancer will remain matched on the gig. Please do not mark the matched freelancer as “not worked”. The hours submitted represent the hours worked by the replacement. It is the freelancer's responsibility to then transfer payment to the replacement. You can submit the rating for the replacement on the matched freelancer's profile. This is an incentive for them to seek a responsible, hard-working replacement.
